向野橋

2022年6月1日、30日、向野橋から名古屋駅ビル群の夜景を撮影してきました。本記事の内容は、撮影スポットのご説明、撮影時の記録のみです。観光情報はありませんのでご了承下さい。

向野橋は名古屋市中村区中戸井町1丁目、中川区百船町にあるJR東海の名古屋車両区をまたぐ跨線橋(鉄道線路をまたぐ橋のこと)です。『こうやばし』と読みます。

橋の上からは名古屋駅ビル群だけでなく、目まぐるしく行き交う列車を見ることができるので、カメラマンや鉄道好きにとっては聖地のようなスポットです。現在は橋の老朽化により、車やバイク(原付を除く)は通行できません。カメラマンにとってはじっくり撮影できますので、逆に嬉しいポイントですね。

I shot night view photos of Nagoya Station buildings from Koyabashi Bridge, on 1st and 30th June 2022. This article is only about explanation of spot and and shooting report. Sorry, almost no tourist information is included.

Koyabashi Bridge is an overpass that crosses JR line, located in 1-chome, Nagatoi-cho, Nakamura-ku, Nagoya City, and Momofune-cho, Nakagawa-ku, Nagoya City.

From this bridge, you can see not only the Nagoya Station buildings, but also the passing trains, so it is favored by photographers and railway enthusiasts. Due to the aging of the bridge, cars and motorcycles (except moped bikes) cannot pass. However, it is a good point for photographers because they can shoot slowly and carefully.

中村区側から見た向野橋です。

This is Koyabashi Bridge seen from the Nakamura Ward side.

西側です。夕空のグラデーションがとても美しかったです。手前に横たわるのは名古屋高速5号万場線です。

West side. The gradation of the evening sky was very beautiful. You can see the Nagoya Expressway No. 5 Manba Line.

夕日に照らされた名古屋駅のビル群が、グラデーションの背景に浮かび上がります。

Nagoya Station buildings, illuminated by the setting sun, stand out against the gradation background.

カメラを右に送ると、ささしまライブ駅近くの名古屋プリンスホテルが見えます。左下の金色に染まる建物は住友生命ビルです。

When I sent the camera to the right, I could see the Nagoya Prince Hotel near Sasashima–raibu Station. The building on the bottom left is the Sumitomo Life Insurance Building.

プリンスホテルに寄ってみました。いつかここに泊まり、ひと晩中夜景を撮りたいですね。

This the Nagoya Prince Hotel. I would like to stay here someday and shot pictures of the night view all night long.

カメラを下に送ると車両基地が見えます。たくさんの列車がお利口さんに並んでいます。間もなくやってくる出番まで、しばし体を休めているようです。

I could see the depot below. Many trains are lined up. It seems that he is taking a break for a while until his turn comes soon.

車両基地は橋の西側にも広がっています。中央に見えるのは下呂や高山まで走るワイドビュー飛騨です。精悍な顔つきですね。右上の建物内で、列車の検査が行われます。

A depot is also located on the west side of the bridge. Wide View Hida, which runs to Gero and Takayama, can be seen in the center. Inside the upper right building, train inspections take place.

アングルを変え、ワイドビュー飛騨を撮りました。そうしている間にも、列車が出入りしていました。ここまでは6月30日撮影、以降は6月1日撮影の写真です。

I changed the angle and shot photos of wide view Hida. While I was doing that, trains were coming and going. The photos up to this point were shot on June 30th, and the followings were shot on June 1st.

名古屋駅ビル群の夜景です。時刻は20時です。手前に見える線路外灯の光条がよいアクセントです。光条の形を整える為、F値を11まで絞りました。

It is a night view of the Nagoya station buildings. The time is 20:00. The lights in the foreground are a good accent. To adjust the shape of the rays, I set aperture value to 11.

スパイラルタワーを外し、セントラルタワーに寄ってみました。いいですね。迫力があります。

失敗談　Failure

今回も実に初歩的な失敗をしてしまいました。上記で撮影日を6月1日、30日と記しましたが、実は5月29日にも撮りに行っています。ただ、この日はカメラの設定を誤り、RAWデータをとり忘れておりました(JPEGのみ)。皆様は、私の様な初歩的な失敗をされないとは思いますが、念の為ご注意下さい。今回の私の失敗が、皆様の注意喚起につながれば幸いです。

This time I made a really rookie mistake. I wrote above that the shooting dates were June 1st and 30th, but I actually went to shoot on May 29th too. However, on this day, I made a mistake with the camera settings and forgot to record RAW data (JPEG only). I don’t think that everyone will make a rookie mistake like me, but please be careful just in case. I hope that my failure this time will help you prevent future failures.

・秋〜冬は防寒対策をして下さい。

・レンズ、センサーにゴミが付着していないかご確認下さい。
・RAWデータをとり忘れぬようご注意下さい。

・Be careful not to disturb another people.
・Be careful not to blur the photos by the wind.
・Be careful not to slip.
・Be careful not to drop your equipments into the canal.
・Keep warm from autumn to winter.
・If you go by car, pay attention to traffic safety.
・Check that there is no dust on the lens and sensor.
・Be careful not to forget to record RAW data.

感想　Impression

徒歩1分で渡ることのできる橋ですが、被写体は名古屋駅ビル群、ささしまライブ付近のプリンスホテル、目まぐるしく行き交う多くの列車、JR東海の車両基地、名古屋高速5号万場線の曲線美、夕空のグラデーションなど盛りだくさんです。

本記事の写真を揃えるのも、6月1日と30日の2日に及びました。お目当ての被写体を絞り込んでおくか、何度か通うつもりでじっくり撮影することをオススメします。現場で焦ると散漫な写真を量産し、結局撮り直しすることになってしまいますからね。本記事が、少しでも皆様の撮影のお役に立てれば幸いです。

It took me two days, June 1st and June 30th, to prepare the photos for this article. It is recommended that you decide what you want to shoot, and plan to visit several times to take photos. If you rush there, it will cause failure. I hope that this article will be of some help to you.
